| Camp Sunshine is one of the happiest places on earth! I volunteered there for two weeks a couple summers ago (see pictures by going back to the Index and clicking on yellow link on the right). I have wanted to go back since the second I left. It is a camp for terminally ill children and their families. The purpose is for the kids and parents to forget about the illness for a week and meet other kids and adults that are going through the same thing. Families travel from all over the world, including France and Australia to attend this camp for a couple days. I think everyone should spend at least one week at this extraordinary place! |
