Camp Sunshine is one of the happiest places on earth! I volunteered there for two weeks a couple summers ago (see pictures by going back to the Index and clicking on yellow link on the right). I have wanted to go back since the second I left. It is a camp for terminally ill children and their families. The purpose is for the kids and parents to forget about the illness for a week and meet other kids and adults that are going through the same thing. Families travel from all over the world, including France and Australia to attend this camp for a couple days. I think everyone should spend at least one week at this extraordinary place!

"These are my cabin rules. Rule #1 - play hard. Rule #2 - drink hard. Rule #3 - eat hard. Rule #4 - sleep hard." ~ John Dickoff ~ These pictures capture mostly the eating, drinking, and playing hard, not so much the sleeping. I got up on the wakeboard for the first time, YAY me. John and I also managed to flip the sea-doo thingy twice!! Fun Fun, in the Sun Sun.

John and I spent three wonderful weeks in Bristol, Rhode Island. We were teachers by day and party animals by night. We met some truely amazing people and made some truely unforgetable memories. [note: That Memorial Day parade is the oldest in the country. It took over three hours for it to pass.]

 | June 24th, 2005 | Mike and Mariuca
Mike is my brother and Mariuca is my soon to be sister-in-law. Their story is a true love story. Long story short; they were high school sweet-hearts who went through their fair share of ups and downs, and after ten years of getting to know each other he decided that he wanted to tie the knot. These pictures are from their trip to New Orleans. My brother asked her to marry him on the train ride down. Check back after September 14th and I am sure their will pictures from their wedding posted.

 | April 21st, 2005 to April 21st, 2006 | Snowbird
Every year after my dad gets at least one full night sleep, usually April 16th, my family and the Ostrover family head out to Utah to do some spring ski-ing and spa-ing. It is the best skiing in the world and that’s a fact!!! (The eucalyptus steam room may be the best in the world as well)

 | March 20th, 2005 | Spring Break 2005
The festival (Langerado) was awesome!! So much better than Bonnaroo. The house was really sweet and the food was good. As for the transportation and the weather.... well…. could have been better. Overall I give it an 8.

This was my freshman orientation. We spent three days in the woods helping each other through pointless mazes and climb useless walls that we could easily walk around. It was a lot of fun and I met people that I will be friends with for the rest of my life, besides the fact that I haven’t spoken to them since…

 | July 1st, 2003 to October 1st, 2003 | Kensington Pool
Kensington Pool has been the summer home to many friends and family. My eldest brother worked there as a lifeguard for 7 years, while my recently engaged sister-in-law has just finished her 50th year. I only managed to make it 3 summers, however my time behind bars will always be remmeber by these pictures that so well represent what it was like to work there.
